Next-Generation Blogging

I was trying out “Habari” for some weeks, but switched back to Wordpress now. The so called “next-generation Blogging” was easy to install, easy to manage and simply worked, but…

… why stick to HTML 4.01 which is a nearly 10 Year old specification???

So, here’s good old Wordpres back in action.

  1. The initial developers of Habari had a lot of discussion about whether to use HTML or XHTML in the generated markup. Some of the highlights are at http://wiki.habariproject.org/en/XHTML_vs_HTML .

  2. Good Points. Habari itself just worked fine for me, but somehow i had that strange feeling that it’s a bit too old skool to stick to html 4.01. Let’s wait for the next Release and maybe i’ll switch back :)
